Minimal Scalyr Agent Installation

Introduction

Some customers have requested a standalone Scalyr Agent package, as they are installing the Scalyr Agent on systems with restricted networking capabilities and don't have access to software repositories.

Default Installation

The standard Scalyr Agent installation instructions (https://app.scalyr.com/help/install-agent-linux-quick-start-1) install the Scalyr Agent with its repositories for seamless updates.

Minimal Installation

You can download the Scalyr Agent's package files directly (for Debian, RedHat and their derivatives) here: https://app.scalyr.com/help/scalyr-agent#package-download
